So, this year has been tough for many businesses. What with home working, pivoting, grappling with furlough, getting workplaces COVID-19 secure, not to mention adapting to the ongoing government announcements. It has been challenging for many and team members have been working tirelessly to keep businesses going.

There is little doubt we are all in need of some good news stories! The forthcoming Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards provide the perfect vehicle to celebrate all the hard work that has been taking place, plus raise the profile of your company for free. The awards cover the following areas Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield & Tamworth and Cannock Chase. The event takes place online on Thursday 28th January 2021 and it is free to attend.

It is also free to submit a nomination and your company does not need to be a Chamber member to take part. There are categories for Small Business and Large Business of the Year in specific geographical areas, and also the Young Professional Award, (which runs across all the divisions).

Businesses with a post code of B72, B73, B74, B75, B76, (Sutton Coldfield), B77, B78, B79, WS7, WS8, WS13 or WS14 (Lichfield and Tamworth), WS6, WS11, WS12, WS15, WV5, WV8, WV9, WV10 or WV11 (Cannock Chase) are able to apply. The deadline for nominations is Friday 27th November 2020.

To give you an idea of the potential exposure for your business, the Solihull Chamber ran a very similar online event recently with over 300 people booked to watch and many more watching the live show on Chamber of Commerce website. So, the SLTC Awards 2021 certainly represent a great opportunity to shout about your business and your team.
