Raphael Design are proud to have recently joined the Lichfield District Tourism Association (LDTA). The Association is a group of Lichfield District based companies with a shared goal of attracting more tourists and customers to our beautiful city. We want to show off Lichfield to the rest of the country, and the world!

Back in August, the Raphael team were commissioned to design the LDTA promotional pen. The pen was created in part to promote the Heritage Weekend that took place in September 2019. In addition, all of the LTDA members taking part in the Heritage Weekend event received a supply of these pens to distribute to their own customers and visitors.

Little did we know that this would become our most well-travelled pen! The pens have recently been touring Australia with Lichfield Town Crier, Ken Knowles, who has been busy handing as many out as he can.

Member David Bathurst (left) will also be handing out the pens along with Lichfield based literature when he tours Pakistan soon, in order to promote tourism in Lichfield and the Midlands.

We hope that the pens will help to raise global awareness of our fantastic city, there is nothing wrong with thinking big – as well as assisting the businesses that call the city of Lichfield home!

Many thanks to the LDTA for using the services of Raphael Design for producing the pen. We are looking forward getting to know the members over the next few months.
